Cardo HQ isn't a SaaS company that decided to target service businesses. It's a service business that built its own software — then teamed up with a Navy IT veteran to bring it to the rest of the trades.

About Cardo HQ.

Cardo HQ builds the CRMs, websites, and back-office tools that small service businesses actually need — the kind of software that runs the job instead of fighting it. We work with HVAC companies, cleaners, contractors, pest control, landscapers, junk removal, and moving companies. If you have a crew, a calendar, and customers who pay you, we can probably help.

Cardo HQ started inside Southern Shores Moving, a moving company in Alabama. Carter built a custom CRM to run it after spending months looking for one that fit and finding nothing. Twelve months later, it runs the entire business end-to-end — scheduling, dispatch, time tracking, SMS, payments, drip campaigns, payroll. Other service owners saw it and asked the same question: "Can you build me one?"

That's what Cardo HQ is. Software built by people who use it every day to run real crews, real jobs, and real customers — not by people who imagined it in a roadmap meeting.

Meet the Founders

Two brothers. One mission.

Carter runs the business and the operator side. Ethan runs the technology and security side. Cardo CRM is what happens when those two skill sets actually live under one roof.

Carter Tinnerman

CEO & Founder

Mobile, AL

A former D1 athlete who started his career in finance before realizing he missed his blue-collar roots. He left the desk job to start Southern Shores Moving — and quickly discovered that no off-the-shelf CRM could actually run a service business the way he needed it to.

So he built his own. When other business owners saw it, they started asking for one too. That's how Cardo HQ started.

Carter lives in Mobile, AL, where he spends his time at the beach, in the boxing gym, and working on his cars.

Ethan Tinnerman

CTO & Co-Founder

San Diego, CA

A U.S. Navy veteran who served as an Information Systems Technician across three Pacific deployments. Ethan specializes in cybersecurity and computer science, and leads the technical side of Cardo HQ — from infrastructure to data security.

He brings the discipline of military IT to small-business software: redundant, secure, and built to stay up when it matters.

Ethan lives in San Diego, CA, where he enjoys hiking, hanging with his Husky Koda, and collecting bourbon.
