Moving Companies

The moving company CRM built by people who move furniture.

Cardo CRM runs the whole move — quote, schedule, dispatch the crew, track hours, and collect the balance at drop-off. It's the same software that runs a real Alabama moving company every day, built around how movers actually work and priced so you only pay for the features you use.

Most software wasn't built for the way moves really run.

A move isn't one address and one price. There's a pickup, sometimes a storage stop or a second house, then a destination. The crew might be two movers or five. The job runs hourly with a minimum, or flat-rate — and then a customer adds a garage full of boxes on move day and the quote needs to change. Generic field-service tools choke on this. They give you a single “job” with one address, no real concept of a route, no crew clock, and no clean way to take a deposit now and the balance at the truck. So movers end up running the business out of spreadsheets, a separate calendar, a texting app, and a card reader that doesn't talk to any of it.

Everything a move needs, in one place.

Quote to paid, without the duct-tape stack of apps.

Multi-stop routing

Build the real route — origin, extra pickups or storage, and the destination — and the mileage and time are calculated for you. Add a stop mid-job from the crew’s phone and the price recalculates on the spot.

Crew time tracking

Movers clock in and out on a phone. Hours flow straight into the invoice, so an hourly job is billed for the time it actually took — with your minimum and rounding rules applied automatically.

Quotes & scheduling

Quote hourly or flat-rate, drop the booked job on the calendar, and drag to reschedule. Recurring and multi-truck days are handled without a second tool.

Deposits & balances (Square)

Collect a card deposit at booking and the balance at drop-off, right from the field. Tips and refunds run through the same Square integration.

Text reminders & two-way SMS

Automatic reminders go out before the move so customers are ready when the truck arrives. Confirmations and day-of updates send by text, and replies land in one thread.

Crew mobile app

Your movers see the day’s jobs, addresses, and notes on their phone — no paper run sheets, no “which house next?” phone calls back to the office.

Only pay for what you use

A two-truck local mover and a long-distance outfit shouldn't pay the same way.

Start with scheduling, quoting and reminders. Turn on Square payments when you want cards in the field, the crew app when you're ready to ditch paper, multi-stop routing when your jobs get complex, and AI follow-ups when you want quotes to stop going cold. Each module is something you switch on — not a feature held hostage behind a pricier tier or stacked per-seat fees.

This isn't a demo built for a pitch.

Cardo CRM grew out of Southern Shores Moving, a working Alabama moving company that runs 100+ jobs a month through this exact software. The multi-stop routing, the crew clock, the deposit-and-balance flow — all of it was built to solve real move-day problems before it was ever offered to anyone else. When the person who built your software has also stood in a hot truck wondering where the second crew went, the details tend to be right.

Moving company software FAQs

What makes a moving company CRM different from generic field-service software?

+

Moves aren’t single-address service calls. A job has an origin, one or more stops, and a destination; it’s priced on crew size and hours or a flat rate; and the bill changes when an extra stop or a heavier load shows up on the day. Cardo CRM models a move the way movers actually run it — multi-stop routes, crew on the clock, deposits up front and a balance at drop-off — instead of forcing it into a one-address ticket.

Can it handle hourly crews and flat-rate quotes?

+

Yes. You can quote a job hourly (per-mover rate with a minimum) or as a flat rate, and the crew’s clock-in/clock-out time feeds the final invoice automatically. If the move runs long or a stop is added mid-job, the price recalculates so what you bill matches what actually happened.

Do customers get reminders before the move?

+

Automated text reminders go out before the truck rolls, so fewer customers forget the date or aren’t ready when the crew arrives. You can also send the confirmation and any day-of updates by SMS, and replies come back into the same conversation thread.

How do payments work for deposits and balances?

+

Take a card deposit when the job is booked and collect the balance at drop-off, right from the crew’s phone, through Square. Tips and refunds are handled the same way. You only switch on the payments module if you want to collect cards in-app.

I have a complicated pricing or routing setup. What then?

+

The off-the-shelf Cardo CRM covers most local and long-distance moving operations. If your pricing, multi-day jobs, or dispatch rules are genuinely unusual, that’s a good candidate for a custom build — we map your exact process and build around it. See custom moving software for details.
